Pleasant hotel, good views and location is pleasant short walk to civic centre and sky, the city center and the Intercity/great sights at Aukland. Cheap food for the continental breakfast. Early check-in and easy check-out, parking nearby. Everything great;)))

location
Really really small rooms. No air condition in the stanrdard room, no fridge. We though that we pay that money for a better room. Really noisy. The suite rooms are in the level 3, besides the washing room, when the workers are. They talk and shout and the machines are all the time on, too much noise. We didn´t like it at all. The people were nice when they wanted, sometimes they were ok, sometimes they were rude. Not a nice place to stay for a long time, its ok for a couple of days. No lo recomiendo para nada.

Location
Lack of security on reception, old mattresses and very uncomfortable, very noisy no soundproofing, shower head was full of limescale and filth, the only water supply to drink was the sink in the bathroom.

the location was excellent, easy to find, the rooms while small were comfortable, clean and welcoming. Parking was available above Atrium on Elliott and the charges were reasonable.
I didn't like the way i was treated by the the first staff member to greet us. He was rude and diffident. we felt unwelcome after his comments that i had scored two units at the reduced price and that it should only have been one unit. He went on to say that his manager had made a mistake and made more rooms available on the website than she should have. so that my bookings were in fact an error. i would recommend City Central Hotel but i would warn my friends to be aware of possible unpleasant reception staff.

Location is the only thing worth in this hotel.
Two staffs are rude- one called "Dane", the other one is an Asian male staff, he does not wear name tag and was on duty in reception on 28 June evening. That Asian staff treated us rude when we told him our purchased Internet card expired after we only used 5 minutes, he replied as despite attitude and told we should shut down the computer to avoid continue charge from Internet card. But we think that because of public computer does not set up very well, they neither put the reminder near the computer, therefore the misunderstanding caused. Dane put the key heavily in the desk when we check out, he is also rude to the clients.

I was travellinfg with a friens who stayed in a room 4 or 5 down the corridor from me. We both booked at the same time (through different channels). I paid 125 per night, he paid $80. I know that I booked a better room than him but was put on the same floor.

Price and location.
Room to small. Linen was badly stained. Either stop using Alsco to clean it or buy replacements for wore out linen.
